I highly recommend them. They have excellent customer service. I have had a few issues with my car starter from other companies working on my car for other reasons. Every time I have an issue they reset my car starter quickly right then and there for no charge!
I can't say enough good about them. They installed a remote starter in my Jeep GC. When I had problems with just starting the Jeep , I brought it to the dealer. They tried to tell me that it was the remote starter. I told Sound Effects and he said they always try to blame them. Then, while the car was sitting outside the dealer, in the middle of the coldest night of the year, he took the remote out. Then, when the Jeep couldn't start, they could blame the remote. Had to get a new ignition switch $$. And SE reinstalled the remote for free. Then, a year later the ignition switch was recalled, and replaced for free.
I still picture the SE guy freezing while he was taking his remote out and cursing the dealer. That is way beyond good customer service! Oh, and he did it no charge...when I asked what I could do to show my appreciation, he told me to get him and his crew some coffee. Of course, I did.
I can't get over the Customer Service and the product selection. I highly recomend going to Sound Effects for all of you Audio needs. They were able to get my hard to find wire harness for me the next day. I will go back to them for the remote car starter for my car this fall.
I had a remote starter installed in my 2008 toyota highlander today. Scott the owner worked on the install. Once under the dash he found a DYI install of a security system I was not aware of. Scott cleaned up the rats nest of tangled wires and discovered the cold start wire had been spliced into the main start wire. Meaning the highlander, that had come from a warmer climate wouldn't have started in extreme cold. To clean up the DYI wiring took an extra hour and Scott still honored the original price. Bravo!!!!
In 2012 they installed a remote starter and they did a great job and the pricing was reasonable...5 stars..
