There were no dirty tables, the bathrooms are cleaned frequently (I had to wait about 5 minutes to use it because it was being thoroughly cleaned) which is great because we had our children with us. They make things fresh upon request. The ambiance is nice and cozy, the place is clean and when you get the bill they personally hand you your fortune which is very nice.
It's a buffet, so I usually use a napkin to handle the utensils. I really don't feel as though any buffet deserves 5 stars because it is incredibly hard to maintain with the volume of consumers coming through the doors unless they follow behind you with a broom and washcloth at the buffet but that would not be pleasant! So I'll give a solid B+ to the Lotus for it's cleanliness, kind and thoughtful waiters/waitresses.

The thing was that at least 4 times after we sat down a man kept sweeping by our table. Well you could smell the dust from the rug in the air and could feel the dust settling in our skin so you know it's got to be settling in the food. I asked him every time to please wait until we were done. Well we left because we couldn't eat like that. We told the woman at the check out what had happened and that we were not able to eat because of it. The charged us for food we didn't eat. We told her again we weren't able to eat. She then asked the woman beside her what to do and she said to take $2.00 off our bill. Wow! Like I said we weren't able to eat the food. But we were still charged full price minus$1.00 each. Chances are we won't go back there again. $21.00 for nothing. ( Price reflects the$2.00 off)
Arguably one of the best Chinese buffets I've been to. Very clean and reasonably priced. The sushi is made on the spot, the food is thoroughly cooked and very tasty, and the staff is attentive and helpful. One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in town! One quirk: there are hanging threads of beads in one of the dining rooms that leads to the bathroom area, which are annoying to walk through and might not be very hygienic, since the draped beads are constantly being brushed across peoples' faces and bodies.
Been shut down due to cock roaches. Cleaning up and suppose to reopen. We use to eat here quite often. Food is good. All cleaned up now. Food is still good
