Absolutely horrible! My wife and I went here today for the first time. Lotus across the street was closed, and so was Tin Tin up the street. Thought this place would be hopping as a result, since it was basically the only one open on the strip in Auburn! Lunch time buffet...busiest time of the day for most restaurants. Walked in...one poor little waitress greeting people, sitting them down, taking orders, bringing orders, waiting on tables, cleaning up, bringing out take out orders, an yes...also checking everybody out! Poor thing. But, on top of that, the buffet was totally EMPTY! We ordered ice water and hot tea, grabbed a partial plate of what was available, and sat down. 10 minutes later the waitress came around asking how things were, we asked when the food would be out. She said it was on its way. 15 minutes later, still not one fresh dish brougt out. Oh, and no cups for our hot tea! Next time she came around 5 min later, she again said "food on its way!". Finally told her we couldn' t wait any longer, and to bring the "check". Had to leave and go to Burger King to get something to eat.
They had a larger party come in who could have gotten the buffet, but after looking decided to go with menu options.
Just left after having the dinner buffet on Friday night...food was decent...but it was cold/like warm and staff showed no desire or interest to refill the table as food ran out. Many of the trays had little food in them from when we got there and remained that way until we left. Two trays were refilled when we were there, but only after customers asked for more of that food.
Its not like we got there at the tail end of the buffet, it goes from 4p to 8p, and we arrived around 520p.
Absolutely Horrible!! Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Horrible service, closed buffet early without notifying us when arriving at 7pm. They asked repeatedly what we wanted and then only served one of our children a couple fries and chicken tenders.
Food was cold, no pork in the pork fried rice, dingy decor but friendly service.
People came in after us who got the buffet, and you could tell that they were disappointed in the selection that was left/available.
Left disappointed because I had been there before and it was good. That's why I went back, but after this experience I am going to try other places before I come back.
We came at around 1:00 after we couldn't find a nearby deli to eat and Lotus was closed. The buffet was closed, so we ordered lff the menu. We were offered free buffet food that was hours old, and when refusing they seemed offended. The food we were served tasted old and mysterious. Not a good experience whatsoever, because the place was empty. The crab rangoon was very good, though.
